Tehachapi Loop

The Loop was first drawn out on a 4x8 ft sheet of plywood. A few nails were hammered into the sheet to hold the splines used to create the roadbed. Once the splines were glued together the whole loop was lifted and installed into place. The sheet of plywood was then cut up and used throughout the railroad. I'll add more to this page later.

The next two photos show turnout replacement at the loop. For some reason it just wasn't operating right so I tore it out and installed a new one!
